The position of Staff Occupational Physician is with a Cincinnati, Ohio based Occupational Health and Medical program with 7 locations in the greater Cincinnati area. This position may supervise up to 7 full time employees (Physician Assistants, NP, Rad Tech, Medical Assistants). The duties of the Staff Occupational Physician will be; perform medical evaluations, initial and follow-up injury occupational care, order and interpret laboratory tests and examinations to determine treatment. Also to include order medications and other forms of treatment in accordance with medical and job performance objectives. Follow the progress of the patients and initiate changes in diagnosis and treatment as indicated. Make appropriate and legible records of findings, plans and reports. Perform medical and consultative services for client companies to maintain a healthy and productive workforce, which includes disability and impairment evaluations, medical case management services, in conjunction with other corporate occupational health services.
Required: Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio and licensed to prescribe medications current DEA.
