Job Description
Medical Director must have admin/clinical experience. Will have caseload adults. Inpatient and partial programs. Salary, benefits, bonus, etc. No Call Required.

Medical Director
Directs the staff and programs of the organizations Psychiatric programs. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with JCAHO, HIPPA, and other accreditation standards. Requires a degree in Psychiatry from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Typically requires at least 10 years of clinical experience. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
