DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-ICU
POSITION LOCATION: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
POSITION SUMMARY
This position works collaboratively with the Critical Care Team providing clinical management in diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of critical care patients across the continuum of care utilizing critical thinking skills in the provision of safe and high quality care.
Assessment conducted as appropriate for critical care patient
Orders appropriate testing and treatments to the collaborative practice agreement and with consideration of appropriate utilization.
Performs approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based upon patients clinical condition and in accordance with the collaborative practice agreement
Appropriately interprets diagnostic testing and patient response to treatment and revises plan of care accordingly.
Assess patient for change in status and institutes appropriate interventions. Initiates necessary interventions to stabilize patient in emergent situations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Masters of Science in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner with 2-3 years experience, or graduate from an accredited physician assistant program. to include Critical Care and Open Heart. FL Licensed with BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS
